Brentuximab Vedotin is a CD30-directed antibody-drug conjugate drug. The uses of adcetris injection are:
- Hodgkin lymphoma following the failure of autologous stem cell transplant (ASCT) or following the failure of a minimum of two prior multi-agent chemo regimens in patients who are not ASCT candidates.
- Systemic anaplastic large cell lymphoma following the failure of at least one prior multi-agent chemotherapy regimen.
- Previously untreated stage III or IV classical Hodgkin lymphoma (cHL) combined with chemotherapy.

Warning & Precautions
- Concomitant use of brentuximab vedotin injection with bleomycin is restricted due to pulmonary toxicity (e.g., interstitial infiltration or inflammation).
- Patients with brentuximab vedotin 50 mg should be monitored for signs and symptoms of neuropathy, such as hypoesthesia, hyperesthesia, paresthesia, discomfort, a burning sensation, weakness, or neuropathic pain.
- Complete blood counts should be assessed before each dosage of inj brentuximab vedotin 50 mg, and more frequent monitoring should be considered for patients with Grade 3 or 4 neutropenia.
- Patients with brentuximab vedotin dosage should be closely monitored while on therapy for the emergence of possible bacterial, fungal, or viral infections.
- Brentuximab vedotin can cause fetal harm if used during pregnancy. Patients should report pregnancy promptly. Patients should avoid nursing while on brentuximab 50 mg.
